Sewing Factory Loft

Just before the creation of BEXT Realty Trust, BEXT team members reimagined a city loft in Boston's Roxbury neighborhood. A former sewing factory, the loft was approximately 1,000 square feet of open space with two full walls of windows.

As the unit was being rented, only temporary structures could be built such as a wooden closet, shelving, and sheer curtains hung from the ceiling to separate the sleeping area from the rest of the loft. BEXT also built their own peninsula to add counter space to the small city kitchen.

The all-white design of the furnishings and décor was a pre-cursor to the "white loft" moniker that the first BEXT project, the Coca-Cola loft, would receive.
